“Like tearing through a short story and wishing for more.”
— Seattle Magazine
Clouds of the West
Glass Radio, now available on limited edition 180 gram vinyl, is a collaboration between cellist-composer Rose Bellini and guitarist-songwriter Quentin Ertel. The record marks a reimagining of the band’s sound into something richly textured and deeply expressive, with songs that blend orchestral detail, lyrical depth, and emotional clarity. Blurring the lines between grandeur and intimacy, chamber music and indie rock, the result is cinematic soundscapes where lush strings meet raw, human songwriting. Cellos, layered guitars and vintage amplifiers form the heart of a sound that drifts between the sacred and the everyday, concert hall and dive bar, memory and dream. The music invites listeners into a space where stillness and motion coexist, each song unfolding like a film scene, with fragments of longing, nostalgia, and transcendence carried on melody and texture. Glass Radio is also available on all streaming platforms.
Limited edition 180 gram vinyl is available here or by visiting your favorite independent record store in Seattle, WA (Daybreak Records, Easy Street Records. Sonic Boom Records, Stumbletown Records, and Wall of Sound).
Musicians in the band have played and recorded with Raven Quartet, Dean Johnson, Heart, the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Brent Arnold and the Spheres, Steve Wold aka Seasick Steve, and Earth.
